Help re Marrow rum
« on: September 28, 2014, 12:48:12 »
Its been a month now and according to the recipe I should be bottling it now. I've poured into their final bottles but during this process I noticed that there were a lot of very tinyl bubbles coming to the surface, bit like pouring tonic. As someone who has never made anything like this before I have a feeling that this should not be happening. Am I right ?
Do I need to put the liquid back in the demi john and leave it for longer?

Don't want anything exploding later !!!
Bring back Spotty Dog........

Sorry I can't help you Fitzsie, I was given the recipe for this on Friday. ATMI don't have any Demerara sugar & looking at the size of the marrow I'll need lots of it & I doubt my OH would want to wait a year. Not very patient at the best of times.
