Sweet corn Incredible
« on: September 21, 2014, 20:31:23 »
Anyone else grow this variety? I picked the first two cobs today - large, full, very sweet. I think it's the third year I've grown it. It is frustratingly slow to mature but gives two or three decent size cobs per plant.

Interesting!  Not grown it but was looking for a later variety that produced multiple cobs so I think that will be on my list next year.
Moved to Portugal - ain't going back!

Tried it last year and had problems with germination so may have just been unlucky, but always do well with Swift (a.k.a extra tender and sweet)
If it's not pouring with rain, I'm either in the garden or at the lottie! Probably still there in the rain as well TBH....🥴

I didn't grow it this year, although  I did the previous two years. I agree a lovely tasting sweet corn and does very well. Although it's not managed 2-3 cobs here, 1-2 would be the norm for me.

I grow Ovation when I can find it, it's early and so more likely to crop...
