Hello, Just popped in to my old site, and was really gratified to see some of my friends had sent me birthday wishes. Thank you all so much, so nice of you to remember. I can't quite comprehend I am 70!!!! Inside I am still in my thirties. I had afternoon tea at the Grand Hotel in Tynemouth with some of my best friends and family. My best friend of all was missing, which was my husband Mike, who died last year, but we loved the Grand and often went for afternoon tea on a Sunday, so it has very fond memories for me. Was a really nice day, and I got some lovely cards and pressies. I got a Mandolin from my son, which was fantastic as I am hoping to take lessons in the Autumn.
