I fancy making a batch of Limoncello for christmas. Does anyone know  how long this will keep for once made?

I'd have thought it would be fine for at least a few months, probably a year if kept cool and somewhere dark. When I've made some I've stored it ready to use in the freezer, although it appears evaporation is an issue!!!
