fizzling ginger beer.
« on: May 12, 2005, 08:32:21 »
today was the day ... I now have 6 bottles of ginger beer standing proudly in the kitchen , bottled earlier from a recipe i found on here :). Where is best to keep them ?. in the shed  or the cupboard ?.. do they need to be kept on the cooler side or warm , have given some expansion room and squeezed air out of bottles but i am rather worried they will go bang !!any advice for storage and how long it has to wait ..   :)

From recent experiemce,I think I'd start them somewhere in the warm for a day or 2 and them move them out to the shed. If they get so pumped up they feel rock solid you can let a little pressure out by undoing the cap slowly.

Time depends on your recipe -a week or 2 I'd have thought.
