I've been finding little poos near where I feed the cats at the pavilion.  I know they aren't cat poo, but does anyone know if they could be hedgehog?
It's about one to one and a half inches long.

 Cheesy - black toothpaste!

The cats' water bowl is often dirty as though something has been in it, and there have been little bits of poo in their dried food dish.

I'm glad it's a hedgehog

They love chopped peanuts but it's keeping them away from the birds that's the problem.

I was hoping it wasn't, judging by the size of it.  I thought fox poo might be more or less like my dogs do.  It doesn't have that disgusting smell either.

What a lovely subject!

I wouldn't have thought it was fox as they do quite a packet and it's quite often a bit sloppy  Grin

I wouldn't know if I have ever seen hedgehog poo but you could always ask Mrs Tiggy-Winkles who take in hedgehogs they would know for sure.

I've become quite an expert on dogs poo as I am always looking at Alfie's ( my puppy dogs) Grin Grin Grin

I'm fairly certain that is Hedgehog, and not fox. Fox stinks... but hedgehog can be relatively longer than that and not as wide... maybe that hedgehog needs to take more water with it...  Grin

fox poo generally has fur in it, and this is the way I have always ID'd it - and yes it has a pointy (and furry) end

Yep if it was fox poo you would know immediately by the smell! Many a time I have gone to the plot before work and trodden in some only to realise once I was in our air conditioned office with no windows...
