I will be around tomorrow, and not being involved means I can show people round. Deb is on holiday but I can still take you onto her plot to see the wonder shed. The Samosas have been ordered.
The committee are talking of cutting down to just the Sept. opening next year and a general Open Day in mid May for the association.  Lips Sealed

Good - those samosas are legendary.

Still would love to come over but just can't......bummocks!

It was a lovely day! Typically, our visit coincided with a sharp shower. Still, had a nice cuppa and cake.
You didn`t mention that it was the 90th birthday of the site. There was an impressive birthday cake in the tea tent.
A Nice little show as well. Some gorgeous flowers.

I'm intending to stand at the AGM but that's after next year's form has to go into the NGS.
It didn't rain much. We weren't run off our feet and had a good natter.
I won seven of the 30 prizes in the internal show... mainly because it wasn't well supported, two categories had no entries!
First, Second and third in "Most Unusual Fruit or Veg".
First in Tomatoes and Soft Fruit.
Second in Top Fruit and Greenhouse collection...
Had Deb been there I would have had more competition...  Grin

Perhaps you won so many prizes because your stuff was best, Saddad! Smiley
The visit was great. I brought my aunt, who had a lovely afternoon. All the visitors seemed happy and impressed and the produce stall was well stocked and busy.
You weren`t on your plot - off to pick more damsons I was told - but we were shown round by a lovely man.
All in all a most successful day.
Well done! Grin Grin

Oh! and my aunt had a lovely chat with the lady who did the judging. I didn`t know her but Aunt knew her as a horticulturist who does radio gardening progs!
Apparently she`s a real fan of your site and she opens her own gardens for the NGS.
