I am growing burdock and will be making some dandelion and burdock cordial sometime soon and my question is about citric acid - if I choose to use lemon or lime juice as the citric acid can anyone suggest the correct amount when the recipe calls for a teaspoon of powdered citric acid - thanks in advance to all brainiacs  Grin

Well lemon juice is reckoned to be about 5% citric acid so logic may suggest 20 teaspoons of lemon juice to get one of citric acid.  By my reckoning the juice of one lemon should be enough if it a good one.

I agree and it says on the side of my citric acid that 1 tea spoon is the equivalent of a whole lemon!
good luck with your dandelion and burdock!

Critic acid is get from lemon, lime, oranges etc. And it was beneficial for us to digest some heavy food and and it also provide stamina to a body. In a daily diet every body have to take a citric acid in his diet. It also change hard water to soft water by chemical bonding with such minerals of a water.
