It finally rained last night

After 38 days with only a bit of drizzle here and there we finally had some real rain, about 1/2 inch in quite a short time.  Everything seems to have grown 6 inches over night.  Though the water has only gone down about 3-4 inches.  Water butts in the garden are full.  Great for the areas I have been watering but still leaving a dry layer elsewhere. 

Lets hope the runner beans finally set.
