Well all the waiting has ended; I am now the proud holder of plot 32 the gate key was handed over this morning. Grin
Yippee! Grin Grin Grin What am I waiting for?
What do I do now?? Where do I start? Can I ask away on here until my feet touch the ground? Grin
What I thought was either get the slabs down erect the shed? Huh Or rip out the weeds that the rotovator has shredded? Huh
What do you think? Huh I have a fair amount of old pond liner, should I plonk that on now? Huh question questions questions Roll Eyes
Here’s a picky of the plot next to the water supply, its not very big, although maybe enough for me. Smiley

What a wonderful looking plot Roy neither wonder you're excited!!!!  Grin
I'd cover as much of it with your plastic as you can for the time being until you decide what you want to do with it.
Really, really pleased for you.

Wow roy, that's great ........congratulations on your plot from Plottie Grin
There's lots you can be doing ....how about marking out your beds and edging them with wood (if that's your plan), throwing some muck on to enrich the soil over the winter, covering them as Eileen suggested, putting up fencing, planning what you want to grow next spring, perusing the seed catalogues, oh the list could go on and on.......
Anyway ENJOY and let us know how you get on

Thanks for the good wishes Guys, I'm off out today to buy some timber to make some beds (as suggested Wink) 12ft x 4ft seem ok? the following weekend off to dismantle an old shed and rebuild on the lottie. Nip down to our local stables and see if they will off load some manure.
I haven't a seed to sow yet, I noticed my local B&Q are selling multi packs of 12 different vegies, works out at 43p per pack anyone used them? Huh
I'll shut up now and do some physical, Bye 4 now. Grin

Thanks again Girls for the kind words, Wink I spent 4 hours up the lottie Saturday morning 3 of them spent idle chatting to the only other allotmenteer there that day, Roll Eyes you can see who did all the work, just look at Harvey’s feet, Shocked managed to get my old pond liners down and string around my plot, it measures only 22 x 7mtrs Hope we get a reduction for the short fall. Huh
Going back up there in a while to see if I can find someone else to idle chat to.

Congratulations Roy, just seen this thread. Your plot is a similar size to mine (5m x 30m), it's amazing how quickly you run out of space so plan carefully where you will put everything.  Smiley
