Hi i have a border in the garden that is about 2ft long, i have planted a blackberry plant in this on one side. How do i stop the plant from getting too big, also will there be room for me to plant a couple of plants that flower.
That is big enough for the root but the branches can go on for ever!
Then if you cut it to keep it in check you get propotionally less fruit!

i got a chilli seed kit today, when is it ok to put it outside.
You will have to start them off indoors in a reasonably high temperature, I think it would be impossible in the UK to germinate them outdoors.

I never water mine I leave that to mother nature, but thats not to say you can't help her along during very hot dry spells ( what's them I here you ask!

and the chilli plant. I have planted some other chilli seeds in a pot which is inside on the kitchen window still.
Do the same with your kit!
