....he did!

The day was all about 'wellbeing and diversity' and we had a stand promoting our allotments, which are the nearest ones to the university.

He attracted a lot of interest and comments, including "Is it real?"  "Do you own a business making them?"  and "What is it, it's scaring me".

The uni chaplain lent him his clerical collar.

There was a lot of interest in allotments from students and staff and I really enjoyed the day.

I love the photos :-)

So, how did you get on "carrying him to the hall"?  Did you get many strange looks?!  did you wheel him there in a barrow?!

Yes, I'm very proud that my boy has been to uni, I knew he had it in him. Wink

They didn't give him a certificate today, maybe that will happen on graduation day?

My husband dropped me off on the main road outside the uni and I had to carry him (the scarecrow, not my husband) a short distance to the building.  We did get some strange looks but nobody laughed, they are very polite in Birmingham!!!  Wink

Yes, he had his seatbelt on!

Please don't be offended by my nickname 'Mortality'
As to its history it was the name of a character I played in an online game called 'Everquest'
The character 'Mortality Rate' was a female Dark Elf Necromancer, the name seemed apt at the time and has been used alot by me over the years.
