small water lily

This is the first time I have had a pond and I put in a small water lily ... I need to know do I cut it back ?  The leaves have turned brown and am not sure what to do with it ..........Help

You can cut/pull the dead leaves off if you like, to save them from rotting down in the water. But you don't need to. Main thing to do with small water lilies is hope that they stay small.
