fried all the toms that had split while we were away, added a couple of fresh from the chickens eggs, couple of slices of home made bread, toasted, meal fit for anyone , followed by our just ready discovery apples Grin

Courgettes, sauteed in a bit of butter, with roasties made fom the Charlottes I dug up the other day, to go with OH roast beef and my tuna steak. Yum!

12/08/09 runnerbeans, tomatoes, scotchbonnet and the first pattypan squash. all roasted with tofu and my garden herbs, t'was very yummy.

Chicken with roasted veg - tomatoes (black crimea and roma), shallots, garlic, french beans and courgette (augmented with shop bought aubergine and peppers (must crack how to grow them) and minted new potatoes. For pudding I've made a tarte tatin.

OK I'll have to look for some plays sand in the sales then. I Ran an experiment, one line i pre chitted and planted into tubes and the other just straight into the ground. The toilet roll tube line has grown at twice the rate of the other and the are next to each other! Smiley
