I finally finished making my scarecrow for this year's competition and took it to the allotments today.  It is about life-size so I sat it on the passenger seat of my car and got some funny looks at the garage when I stopped to put petrol in the car.



My scarecrows always look alike because I make their heads out of old tights, rather than use a mask like some other people do.

He is sitting at the notice board near our gate, pointing to the scarecrow notice.

It's one of those shaggy scarves - I cut off one piece for the hair and another for the beard.
