Just found a lovely cartoon ny #thelwell featuring a set of allotments with people working hard at various tasks, and a guy in the middle allotment sitting sunning him in a deck chair.

I have nearly done all the digging hope to get out my deck chair soon and watch it all grow.  Think I might change my name from Digeroo.

I always loved his cartoons of horses and ponies!  I once came across a book by him about how to draw them.  Kept me amused for hours as a kid.

It was the 50's.... they didn't have girls back then apparently...... girls were invented so they could have sex in the sixties. THe first girls were Twiggy and Mary Quant.....
