Fifi's gone broody!

I thought she'd been in there a while, decided to have a firkle today & she was sitting on 6 eggs. It's the first time she's ever pecked a person in anger, when I picked her up, poor thing. Seems a waste of a good broody chicken, but we're off on holiday on Friday, we don't have room for any more chickns & I haven't the time to go get some viable eggs. Oh, and there's only the one nest.

If only one of mine would go broody... am looking forwards to raising some chicks but so far this year no-ones sitting.
