My mum got 3 hens as egg layers a few months ago. She has now been told by the council that she will not be able to keep them  Sad . If anyone can offer them a new home please let me know. We dont want anything for them you just have to be able to pick them up. Thanks, Jay.  Smiley

    i wish i hadnt noticed this post,im in liverpool and would love chooks. hold on a minute,she IS allowed chickens,i was told so by a council member only the other day,are you a different council to me,im in aigburth

    Hi, she comes under knowsley council. Is aigburth under liverpool ?

    I would take them myself but i only have a small yard, they are great little things and love eating the slug eggs I have been finding whilst doing the garden.
