Now 3 pages worth of entries - I didn't realise how many "classes" we would have! And as for the 2004-2005 A4A show - can already foresee 75 classes, and that is just for the veg!

My thoughts exactly Multi, I am totally flabbergasted. Isn't it just wonderful to look at all those different crops?
Will you manage getting all those polls set up?
I can't think of any other way to do the voting.

Thinking of the voting - may have to have "rounds" or something as there are more entrants than I think I can fit in a poll (max of 8 options).

Oh jeez, I didn't realize that there is a max of 8 options in a poll. So far there are only one or two catagories with more than 8 posters.
I wonder if two polls can be put on those threads so you will have room for all the names of the posters in that thread?

I note that Emma and Doris have put photos of patty pans in the show.  Without wishing to appear ignorant - which I obviously am Cheesy could someone please explain what these are and what they are used for.  Never heard of them before.

They are another squash.  I did think about starting a squashes section, but then thought that covers so many fruit that thread would probably run out of control.  They are smaller than pumpkins, and I believe they are normally a summer used squash, like courgettes.  I love them as they are so pretty, and I have much more success with them than with courgettes!

Just a couple of days left for posting pictures, Multiveg will put a poll on each category on Sept. 6 and it will be a big job, good luck Multi!

Hopefully I have access to a compi while I'm gone, I hate to miss all the fun. I'll be back on Sept. 12 so maybe I can still vote.

Who would have thought there would be so many categories and so many fantastic pictures. I vote for doing it again next year. What a great community this is, congratulations everybody.

Thanks Dan for making the show possible.

Have already started to look at doing the polls - some of the classes have so many entries (more than eight), that I cannnot make just one poll - therefore, will have to, for some, such as toms and potatoes, split into more than one poll and the winner from each to go into a final poll. I will be as random as I can in selecting entries for the split polls. If a class has 9 entries, then  I would split this into 3 polls with 3 entries in each. Will just have to have an uneven set of polls where the number of entries is a prime number....
As this is just for fun and there are no prizes, I think that this is reasonably fair.

Right - it is just gone 1am, and I won;t be posting all the polls now as I am shattered. I will post the rest up later this morning/lunchtime. There are going to be at least 2 pages of polls.

I would just like to say a BIG thankyou to Multi for all the hard work she is putting in with the polls - burning the midnight on our behalf - I think she deserves a big Gold Award

Pat
