Our Allotment Society is organising two sunflower competitions this year.
Grow the tallest plant . Closing date for entries : 30th June.
Sunflower Hat worn by child under 12 Best decorated hat using real or artificial sunflowers. Closing date September.
While the tallest plant competition is restricted to those local to Ellistown in Leicestershire the second competition is open to a wider entry. Entries are welcome from individuals, nursery or school classes or other groups. Entry forms can be downloaded from the website belowPrizes will be awarded at Sunnyside Garden Centre on 12th September Ibstock.
