Asterix

Are these meetings open to all or just the site secretaries?

tonybloke

These are meetings for just secretaries on monday, and just committee members on tuesday. how long have you had your plots on western rd? did you attend the AGM?
do you have a site committee on that site? is mary elected as secretary /committee member by your site plot-holders?
sorry for all the questions!!!  ;)

well the guy who's name the allotment is in has had it a few years i just run it cos his health doesn't allow him to do too much. And yes she is the elected secretary and i have not attended any meetings I've only just become aware that there are meetings and because i am the main person who works on our plot thought it would be a good idea to get involved.
If i cant go to these meetings how can i make it so that i can?
Thank You!

Asterix

Also are you able to keep chickens on the plot that i am on (western road)?
Thank You

tonybloke

Only plot-holders can be elected to any positions in our association. As you are not even the registered plot-holder you cannot have a say in the running of the association.I'll see mary tonight, and make some enquiries on your behalf.

Is it possible for me to be added as a registered plot holder if the current plot holder approves it?
ThankYou

P.S sorry for all the questions i'm rather passionate lol

tonybloke

hi i,ve only been on freemantle site for 6 months or so, but can someone please tell me why People can have chickens, but only come down only once a week to feed  them, the other day we had a hard frost and all their water was frozen for 3 days and there was no food in their hut (there is a knot hole in the shed to look into see if the feed hopper is full ) or enclosure.  i know the RSPCA have been informed but nothing seems to be happening, HOW long do we put up with seeing these birds suffer

tonybloke

have you had a word with Arthur Nichols or John Howard? (secretary and committee member)
I'll give them a bell in the morning
