Whenever gales are forecast up here I open the roof window all the way and prop open the door for the duration of the storm - I haven't lost a single pane of glass since I put the greenhouse up 5 years ago.

A friend in the same village lost almost all of his glass recently when, it seems, the wind blew out a loose pane and had nowhere to go so systematically blew out several other panes!
