where exactly is your allotment - Northern Ireland (see we do exist!)

I just took my allotment on in October, it's a private site Lisglass (on the Larne Line by Bruslee Recycling Centre, Newtownabbey).  I haven't been able to get much done yet, but I guess it's all in the preparation.  With the ground being frozen thanks to the lovely snow, I'm planning my year and getting ready to order my seeds etc.

Come the there will be a lot of digging to do. but hey you take on an allotment you take on the work, eh?

good luck with your new plot, it breaks my heart really that there are no proper council allotments going in NI its such a shame that traditional allotmenteers are paying  a lot of money (£200 upwards) just to grow.

Good luck with your new venture i hope you have a some great neighbours and a not to greedy landlord.
