My first ever beetroot. Sowed a 4ft row, only four made it, but I DON'T CARE!! Just so pleased to get any.  Grin Grin Grin

Crikey, mine are still very small, hope they turn out like yours cos I love beetroot. It is also my firt time to grow them. Fingers crossed.

Thanks everyone. I am ridiculously pleased with these, depsite the 95% failure rate, my fave new thing this year.  Cheesy

Georgie - had one raw on salad today, going to bake the rest, but fear I may have to supplement the meagre rations with shop-bought.  Shocked Smiley

I have pulled all mine and have taken a chance and sown 15 more seeds,

hoping that the garden hasn't noticed it is now August  Grin - pack says

sow jun-july so fingers crossed.
