Cor they look lovely. The few I have grown have only produced lots of green no sign of anything least of all cobs ready for eating Smiley If they do come to anything it will be another first for me.

They are great Manics.  Smiley
I harvested some mini corn today - plants given to me by a friend. They were lovely - nutty and yum.
My sweetcorn though...sigh. Like Lorna - lots of green, no sign of cobs but I did plant much later than March/April coz of all the hassle over my first plot.

Mine is pretty much the same Emmy Sad

I planted straight into the ground in March, but they don't seem to want to grow!  one or two have very small offshoots which I think will become the cobs, but if we don't get some sunshine and warmth up here soon then I think I'll just have to put the lot on the compost pile Sad

Well done on yours tho' Manics!

I am SO jealous! Sweetcorn must be my absolute favourite. I thought my plants were doing quite well with quite a few cobs forming, but they are nowhere near yet
Well done
