I have to drive to Slough once a week to visit our head office.  I pass an allotment on my way into Slough on the Uxbridge Road and often think how I'd much rather be on my plot rather than be heading in to work followed by another 3 hour drive round the M25 home.

no, those allotments aren't council property and the land is rented out by a private owner, for nearly twice the rent i pay. it's a lovely site though, some beautiful allotments there! i'm literally a 2 and a half minute drive from that site.

....which oddly isn't in Street End Road at all - but in Third Avenue - Street End Road is the next road! .............very confusing!
