Not ever properly introduced myself, but back garden in Bath, next door recently passed away, so I will be growing veggies for his widow next year, each house is built on 1/3rd acre, and approx 1/3rd of the land is veggies, so that's ............ummmm.........1/3rd of 2/3rds of an acre........I think.

Hang on......I can do this with a common denominator...........so 2/3rds is .666666, and a third of .666666 is about .222222, so about a quarter of an acre; allowing for extra greenhouse room around the houses.

"is that nxt to horfield prison? " Why yes, absolutely. St Agnes field - you can hear the inmates when they're on exercise, mostly young lads by the sound of them - language can be fruity.

Hi Steve Welcome to A4A.   Have you been on the allotment waiting list for a long time?

Hi Steve Welcome to A4A.   Have you been on the allotment waiting list for a long time?

Hi Digeroo!  Only been on the list about 3 weeks!  I've asked the council to keep back to me with waiting list numbers/times.  Had a look around the site on Sunday - there seemed to be a few neglected plots there so I hope the waiting list won't be long.

I do hope you are lucky.  Sometimes people sit on plots and it seems to take quite sometime before they are released.

Is there anyone else here from Exmouth? We've got about 600 plots, in Exmouth, so there must be someone else on here!
