Oh dear - this thread has just reminded me that there is a demmy john in the cupboard with blackberry wine in it - that we started off in September ....2005!

Does anyone think it will be drinkable?   :(

I'm dreading going to look ..... think this is one of those boys jobs for hubby to take care of!

Yes, from sherbourne allotment - as you know us up the top have hedgerows between the plots, and ours is a full row of wonderful fat blackberries

shame though, as it's not as open and friendly as down in your patch!

Well you are welcome to pop down and say hello, I am plot 108, go down the footpath behind the site shed (by the chippings) until you get to a path to the left. I am second gate on the left ... (with the hedge arch ...)

I am there most Saturday mornings till 12, and other times as convenient.
