Hey all,
I probablyshouldn't say this before I've been there to get mine, but there's a guy in Brick Lane (market, on sundays, down one of side streets going east) who's got some lovely traditional fermentation jars (dunno bout locks - and dunno bout prices but if people find out ....).
They'll be cheap anyhow if you bargain right as it's off the street in brick lane....
Oh and as they are glass the capacity is 1 gallon .

Well - dunno if anyone took an interest, but i got hold of 4 of these at the market yesterday morning (clink clink on the bus) - for..... the grand sum of..... 4 pounds total (£1/piece ) . i got 2 dark brown and 2 clear glass.
The guy selling them has 4 of them left still (all clear )
