Just thought i would say hello as im new here. Planning on getting an allotment as soon as possible (but not 100%)   Does anyone have an allotment in the Harrogate area??

Welcome to A4A - it really is an addictive site and full of help and guidance from the more experienced members.. always a good place to visit when the weather prevents gardening.

I'm new to the vegetable malarky too so there are a good few of us 'newbies'.

Just found your post. Did you get your plot & if so whereabouts? I have one in Harrogate & I'm feeling slightly concerned about a questionnaire received recently from the council regarding allotment use. Site is full & there is a waiting list, but can't help wondering if there is something sinister about the questionnaire given so many sites nationwide are being sold for housing. (There is a serious shortage of affordable housing in the area).

I hope I'm worrying about nothing!
