Ignore
« on: April 07, 2006, 07:39:20 »

In true Blue Peter style, i furnished a feeder from the bottom of a 3ltr ginger bottle which none of the birdies would go near.  I wanted something that the pigeons wouldn't attempt to land on as they're bullying the smaller birds off the tables and eating the lot.

i thought that the edges might be a bit sharp so cut ribbed drinking straws lengthway and tied them round the edges but still not much activity as the seed hasn't moved.

then today i see Mr Robin and Mr Blue-Tit have found it.  It's still being ignored by the sparras but I'm pleased nevertheless.
