Organic Greenhouse Soil / Bat Guano
« on: February 07, 2006, 23:30:22 »
Hi

I'm looking to experiment and make up my own organic soil for my greenhouse this year and treat my tomotoes, peppers and cucumbers.

So far I have New Horizons peat free compost, perlite, composted seaweed and a good dose of worm casts I've saved.  I'm looking to add bat guano as an extra as I've heard it's one of the best soil additives and really brings out the flavour.

Has anyone experience of using it and can point me to a good supplier.

regards

bub

My son who lives in Germany used guano and he caught some sort of parasite that started eating his flesh :o :o. It took a while before the Doctors found out what was causing it. So beware!
