My dad is dying - the doctor said to my mum that he probably wouldn't last more than 2 days. He had a heart attack, and cannot swallow - they fed him directly into the vein but the maximum time on that is up. They wanted to do a tube direct into stomach but he is too weak for the procedure.

Many thanks peeps for your thoughts.
I was reading the bbc news website about George Best. Was starting to compare them - though no alcohol/liver problem for my dad, they both aren't well bunnies, and I just hope we can get there in time - travelling across country isn't easy and now there is snow.... My dad hasn't been sent off for throwing mud at a referee.
