We had red sky this morning - sailor take warning.  And boy did it rain, most of the day.  However, we had red sky tonight, so that can only mean one thing, sailors delight, a great day tomorrow.  Lucky me I don't work mondays. ;D  ;D  ;D  ;D

Well tomorrow (today  ;D) is glorious!  Spent the morning up at the plot, but the paths are so wet and slippery I nearly went A over T several times!  Filled  bags with beetroots, carrots, kohl rabi, runner beans, apples, leeks, parsnips and believe it or not......3 courgettes!  Have made 6 stew packs to freeze with the leeks, snips, carrots, rabi and pumpkin, then froze another 6 packs of sliced carrots.  Now, what to do with the beets.....may blanch them and freeze them as I don't like them one little bit pickled!  Apples for crumble and apple cake as we are seeing baby Thomas at the weekend and I think his parents need some comfort food!  Cleared the bolted florence fennel, tiddly beetroots and french beans today.  Still loads up on the plot, always suprised!  Have a carrot glut as I found a patch I had forgetten all about behind the globe artichokes, and they are whoppers!

Weather permitting, plan to go again Friday for a couple of hours.

Very nice day today so we went for a walk in the wolds and a drink or two in a country pub.  Not a spade in sight.

Beautiful day here in sunny kent - took the boy to the lotty, he's only 14 months but had him planting tulips this morning - so proud ;D Mind you, had to throw him straight in bath, sooooo much mud ::)  ;D
