Hi all,

The July competition is open for entries, and in response to some questions I've received, some rules   ...

  • The picture you enter can be of any subject not only garden / allotment related.
  • It must have been taken by you during the month of the competition, so during July (this year!) for this months.
  • I am limiting the competition to one entry per member per month.
Hope everyone understands and we continue to get excellent photographs entered.

Oh and lastly, good luck everyone.

Dan

Meet Lotti & Rambo - they are Kune-Kune pigs, native to New Zealand. Just had to snap them snuggling up in the shade on a very hot July day.

Here you go - a little pair that seem inseperable - I dug them up a couple of weeks ago.

Tough deciding what to enter this month...

Anyway I decided on this one from my visit to Hampton Court Flower Show.

One of the show gardens. Great colours!

I took this photo of a moth on Sunday 7th Aug with my digital camera through a magnifying glass. Photo's a bit large because camera was set at macro and highest resolution.

Sorry but isnt this 'out of date' ? I though the comp was for pics taken 1st July - 31st July 2005?

Great picture though, i am sure Dan will use his discretion as to allowing it to enter. Its not my place to say I just thought i'd point it out.

I'm surprised my chickens still have their heads intact; they do hold up work (but we don't mind  Wink)
